The Missouri Valley Folklife Society, a volunteer-based, non-profit concert organization fosters the appreciation of music based in or influenced by folk idioms. Our organization provides opportunities for local, regional, and international folk musicians to educate, interact with, and perform for audiences in affordable family-friendly environments.

Past concert seasons included the Battlefield Band, Flook, Kevin Burke with Johnnie Connelly and Ged Foley, The Black Brothers, Brewer & Shipley, Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill, La Musgana, Kevin Be, and Paddy Keenan.

While many concerts in the past have featured Irish and Scottish music, we are now committed to presenting a wide variety of music and culture in order to better serve and represent the Kansas City area.
